The Friends of Ludlow Museum              Castle from Whitcliffe

Resources: Collections: Fine and Decorative Art

The major part of the collections is housed within the Shropshire Museums Resource Centre in Ludlow, co-located with the public library.

The fine and decorative art collections comprise some 1000 objects. Most of these are oil paintings, watercolours and prints, hung on special racking. However, there are also some decorative arts objects that require storage in boxes.

The Resource Centre has an artist in residence, Angela Gladwell, who regularly runs courses. However, these are very popular and so advance booking is required.

Access to the Art collections is arranged by appointment with the curator, either in person or by phone, letter or email.
